ESI has been building experiential programs of unsurpassed construction and training for over 34 years. We are proud and active members of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT), American Society for Testing and Materials – International (ASTM), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Association for Experiential Education (AEE), the American Camp Association (ACA), and the Climbing Wall Association (CWA) and build to or exceed all written standards set by the above associations.

Design of a climbing tower looking from a side. Multiple access climbs including tires, fidget ladder, giant's ladder and climbing wall.

Choose from an existing design or work with our design team to create a truly unique ropes course, zip line and/or climbing structures for your facility.

A giant crane lifts the top of the tower high into the air to place the finishing touch on this four story entry point to the high ropes course. An ESI construction worker secures the tower roof in place. In the front is a cargo net, to the side a climbing wall, as two potential climbing options for participants.

Our team of challenge course construction experts and technicians can take your design and turn it into a stunning reality.

As trees grow they will grow around cables and other hardware. This picture demonstrates the importance of regular inspections of your challenge course elements to make sure elements are built to current standards.

Annual Inspections are required by industry standards like ACCT, PRCA, ANSI and ASTM as well as accrediting organization like the ACA, AEE, BSA, insurance policies, and/or jurisdictional authorities. If you have adventure structures installed and operational, you are probably required to have an annual inspection of your structures and equipment each year by a third party qualified professional.  Let one of Experiential Systems’ ACCT and NAARSO certified inspectors come out and inspect your ropes course, aerial park, zip line and/or climbing structure.

Experiential Systems can work with you to make repairs to any elements that may have failed inspections.

We all do our best to keep our courses in the very best of conditions.  This being said storms, normal wear and tear, and even changes to standards can lead to additional maintenance and repairs to elements and structures.   Experiential Systems can schedule a repair date to update existing structures or repair damaged elements.  In some situations ESI can consult with your maintenance team and provide resources and coaching on what needs to be completed and how to bring damaged elements back up to standards.

Staff Training

Helmets, rope, and carabiners are just a few of the pieces of hardware new facilitators learn to inspect during a training. Both hard and soft facilitation skills are covered during ESI trainnigs.

Experiential Systems provides multiple options for training.  Options include: facilitator trainings on newly constructed courses; skills verification for seasoned guides and professionals; advanced processing skills, rescue training, and more.  Explore the multiple training options we offer or we can customize a specific training for your site.
