Aerial Adventure Parks

Self-guided aerial adventure parks are a great use of a wooded area. Staffing requirements are relatively low as the participants make use of continuous belay systems that allow them to experience the course independently.

Zip Line Canopy Tours

Take advantage of your gondolas and lifts to create a third season adventure for your guests. A zip line canopy tour will offer your guests breathtaking views of the property and a new and exciting way to experience your attraction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@experientialsystems.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Third season operations refer to the critical warm-weather months (spring, summer, and fall) when traditional winter sports revenue drops to zero. Experiential Systems, Inc. (ESI) helps mountain resorts transform their unused terrain into highly profitable summer destinations. By installing high-thrill, experiential attractions—like zip line canopy tours and aerial adventure parks—resorts can keep guests engaged, drive off-season hotel bookings, and generate robust, year-round revenue.

For resorts looking to maximize throughput while minimizing seasonal labor costs, Self-Guided Aerial Adventure Parks are the ultimate solution. ESI designs these parks utilizing Continuous Belay Systems (CBS) or Smart Belay technology. Because participants cannot accidentally disconnect themselves from the life-safety cable, they can navigate the entire obstacle course independently. This drastically reduces the number of active guides required compared to a traditional guided canopy tour.

Absolutely. One of the greatest advantages a ski resort has is its existing uphill transportation infrastructure. ESI specializes in designing Zip Line Canopy Tours that originate at the summit of your mountain. Guests ride your existing chairlifts or gondolas to the top, and then experience a breathtaking, multi-stage zip line descent back to the base lodge. This maximizes the ROI of your winter lift infrastructure.

While wooded areas are perfect for aerial adventure parks, they are not a requirement. ESI routinely designs and engineers massive, freestanding steel and utility-pole structures. Climbing Towers, Tango Towers, and land-based Obstacle Courses can be installed at the base of the mountain, in parking lots, or on open ski runs, providing highly visible daytime entertainment for mountain visitors without relying on natural timber.

A Tango Tower is an awe-inspiring, high-throughput hybrid structure. While a traditional climbing tower only offers standard rock holds, a Tango Tower combines a climbing wall with high ropes course elements. Guests can choose their own adventure: they can scale a traditional rock face, ascend a massive cargo net, navigate a bead climb, or conquer a giant ladder. It provides immense variety in a single, space-efficient footprint.

Yes. ESI strongly believes that outdoor adventure should be inclusive. We design highly adaptable land-based obstacle courses and low-ropes elements that can accommodate guests with a wide spectrum of physical and cognitive abilities, ensuring your resort is a welcoming destination for all families.

Often, they are regulated even more strictly. Many states classify zip lines, aerial parks, and climbing towers under Amusement Ride Codes (which reference ASTM International standards), rather than standard ski area regulations. Navigating these complex legal frameworks is why major resorts choose ESI.

Ski resorts carry massive liability profiles and require flawless risk management. ESI is the only North American challenge industry vendor that is ISO 9001:2015 Certified for design, installation, and inspection. We do not just build to ACCT or PRCA guidelines; our ISO system ensures we are strictly compliant with the specific Jurisdiction Having Authority (JHA) in your state. Furthermore, our inspection division deploys professionals certified by NAARSO and AIMS—the exact credentials demanded by state amusement ride inspectors—guaranteeing your summer attractions pass state audits with flying colors.
