Why Work At ESI?

Working at Experiential Systems means joining a culture of precision, craftsmanship, and adventure.

Here is a breakdown of the value ESI offers its team:

Safety and Mastery

As the only ISO 9001:2015 certified company in the industry, ESI prioritizes a "do it right the first time" mentality. You will be trained to the highest possible standards, working alongside experts who hold over 300 years of combined experience.

Variety and Impact

No two days are the same. One week you might be inspecting a zip line at a summer camp, and the next you could be building a high-ropes course for a military installation or a commercial adventure park.

Collaborative Environment

ESI fosters a "team-first" atmosphere where knowledge sharing is encouraged. Whether you are in the field or the office, you are part of a tight-knit community that values professional development and technical excellence.

Innovation-Driven

Because ESI is involved in the entire lifecycle of a project—from the first sketch to staff training, maintenance and beyond — ESI employees gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry and have a hand in shaping the future of the adventure play.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@experientialsystems.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Working at Experiential Systems means joining a culture of precision, craftsmanship, and adventure. We are looking for adventurous, safety-conscious experts who enjoy working outdoors in a highly collaborative, team-first environment. Whether you are in the field or the office, you become part of a tight-knit community that values professional development, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.

We offer an unmatched combination of Safety and Mastery. As the first and only North American challenge course company to earn ISO 9001:2015 certification for both manufacturing and services, we prioritize a "do it right the first time" mentality. You will be trained to the highest possible global standards, working alongside elite industry experts.

We are continually expanding our elite team. Our most common open positions include Challenge Course Installers/Inspectors, Professional Trainers, Client Portfolio Managers, and Construction & Logistics Support Specialists.

Not necessarily. While we highly value applicants with backgrounds in outdoor recreation, construction, or challenge course facilitation, we are primarily looking for the right attitude and work ethic. If you are not an industry expert yet, ESI will train you! We provide rigorous, hands-on training to ensure you meet our exacting safety and operational standards.

Safety is our top priority. We heavily value candidates who currently hold or are willing to obtain specialized occupational credentials, such as OSHA 10 certifications, heavy machine operator licenses, professional rigging certifications, or ACCT Level I/II Practitioner certifications. ESI staff currently hold certifications across a wide range of organizations, including ACCT, ISO/IEC 17024, NAARSO, AIMS, ASTM, AEE, ACA, CWA, and OSHA.

Extensive travel is a core component of our field operations. ESI currently has 65 employees deployed across 24 states, and we regularly execute projects across all of North America and internationally. Field installers, inspectors, and trainers should expect robust travel schedules that take them to incredible locations coast-to-coast.

Absolutely. Because ESI is involved in the entire lifecycle of a project—from the first architectural sketch to installation, staff training, and maintenance—our employees gain a comprehensive, 360-degree understanding of the industry. This innovation-driven environment gives you a direct hand in shaping the future of adventure play and offers significant pathways for internal promotion.

If you are passionate about the experiential education industry, we want to hear from you. If you don't see an open position that is the perfect fit right now, we encourage you to drop us your resume anyway! We are a rapidly growing company and constantly keep elite resumes on file for future expansion.
